How to Verify You're on the Official Moin.Cash Website
A phishing website can copy the layout, logo and wording of a real exchange. The detail it cannot copy is the exact official domain. This guide explains how to confirm you are on the genuine Moin.Cash website before entering any information.
Start from an address you typed or a bookmark you verified
Type moin.cash yourself, or open a bookmark you saved after checking the address. Search results, advertisements and forwarded links can point to lookalike pages, and a sponsored result at the top of a search page is not proof that the destination is official.
Compare the full domain, character by character
Moin.Cash's official domain is moin.cash. Lookalike domains add or change a single element: an extra word, a substituted letter, a different ending. Read the address bar slowly, including the part after the final dot, before you interact with the page. MetaMask documents how spoofing sites imitate familiar services to collect information. Treat the padlock as encryption, not identity
The padlock icon means the connection is encrypted. It does not prove who operates the site, because a phishing page can also use HTTPS. Check the domain first; the certificate alone is not an identity check. Ethereum security guidance(https://ethereum.org/security/)
Check official contact identifiers against the site itself
If a message claims to be from Moin.Cash support, verify it through identifiers listed on the official site rather than through the message's own links. For reference: support@moin.cash, Telegram @MoinCash, or X @moin_cash. Compare the actual address or handle, not only the visible display name. These identifiers are a reference for checking contact details, not a promise about any particular message or response time.
Never enter wallet secrets on a website
No legitimate support channel asks for your recovery phrase or private key on a web page, a form, or a chat. If any page requests them, close it and return to the address you verified.
If something looks wrong, stop
Close the tab and reopen the site from your typed address or bookmark. Do not continue "just to look around": entering details on a lookalike page can be enough to expose them.
